The Agriculture, Forestry, and Fishing industry is one of the most hazardous sectors in the U.S. resulting in many fatalities every year. Agricultural injury surveillance data can provide key information in prioritizing hazards. Knowing and understanding the details of fatal incidents is critical to developing education and intervention programs to prevent future incidents. On November 17, at 1 p.m. Eastern, join Dr. Serap Gorucu as she discusses some existing data sources on agricultural injury surveillance. Additionally, Dr. Gorucu will present her efforts and findings on creating fatal and non-fatal Agricultural injury dataset for Florida.
