Uncovering Patterns of Mental, Physical, and Occupational Health Issues Among Migrant Farmworkers with Different Socio-cultural Networks

April 22, 2020

Migrant farmworkers in the U.S. experience a variety of stressors that affect their mental and physical health. Through a pilot project with SCCAHS, Dr. Gulcan Onel researched relationships between social networks/connectedness, mental health status, and physical health status of migrant farmworkers and how each of these both independently and dependently impact overall health.

On April 22, 2020 from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. Eastern, we invite you to join us for a SCCAHS webinar as Onel shares key indicators of social support and social networks on the overall burden of mental disorders, primarily on social isolation, depression, and anxiety disorders.
