November 7, 2024

The emergence of Highly Pathogenic Avian Influenza (HPAI) H5N1 poses a significant threat to the agriculture industry. The One Health approach, which is an interdisciplinary framework for addressing complex health issues, can enhance the response to H5N1 (avian influenza) outbreaks in agricultural settings.

In this webinar, Dr. Benjamin Anderson will present how this interdisciplinary strategy integrates human, animal, and environmental health to effectively manage and mitigate the risks posed by H5N1. Dr. Anderson will also discuss best practices in monitoring, prevention, and control efforts across sectors, emphasizing collaboration between veterinary, medical, and environmental professionals.
